Singapore: The world’s leading port operator, PSA, has announced a reshuffle of its senior executives, Singapore’s Straits Times has reported. A surprise announcement said PSA’s head of European operations, Pierre Timmerman, was leaving with immediate effect for unspecified reasons.MrTimmerman will be replaced by David Yang, PSA’s head of Middle East and South Asia operations. The current Chief Executive of Singapore and South East Asia, Kuah Boon Wee, will head the Middle East and South Asia operations. Group business development head Kenny Ong will take on a larger portfolio becoming CEO of the Americas. PSA operates 28 ports in 16 countries and the new changes, according to CEO, Eddie Teh, is against the backdrop of continuing changes in the globally competitive landscape. Sammy Lee |
